The fantastic hotel lies a mere 200 metres from Gulf of Aqaba and only 1.8 km from the Aqaba Marine Park. Tala Bay Aqaba in Aqaba is a stone's throw from the Grand Tala. The own beach is located just 5 minutes' walk away.
Looking onto the sea, the air-conditioned rooms are appointed with blackout drapes and an air conditioner along with free Wi-Fi and a flat-screen TV with satellite channels. Also, there is a private safe, a mini-fridge-bar provided. Guests have access to a walk-in shower and a separate toilet, as well as bathroom comforts such as a hairdryer and towels.

As a cultural anthropologist conducting a corporate retreat, my stay at Grand Tala Bay Resort was a mix of highs and lows. The location was superb, with easy access to a private beach that provided a serene setting for both work and relaxation. The infinity pool offered a refreshing break after long meetings, and the fitness center catered to my need for a quick workout.In terms of business amenities, the hotel's Wi-Fi ensured seamless connectivity for remote work, while the business center facilitated any necessary tasks. The 24-hour reception and security provided a sense of safety and convenience, allowing for late-night work sessions without worry.However, the outdated rooms and lackluster dining options were a downside for a supposed 5-star resort. Despite the friendly staff and the free room upgrade, the overall experience fell short of expectations.For business travelers, Grand Tala Bay Resort offers a decent option with essential amenities, but improvements in room quality and dining experiences are necessary to truly elevate the guest experience.
